I've had a long-time fascination with man hole covers. We hardly ever stop to think about these portals to the labyrinth beneath our feet. Our cars run over these discs at high speed, and we never stop to notice how highly crafted their surfaces are.

I've taken pictures of man hole covers from across the globe. Each country seems to have their own style.
I've even made an app for the iPhone that lets people all over the world take pictures of manhole covers and submit them for everyone to see.
And just because it's been my life-long hobby, I even created a silkscreen print of a manhole cover.
Indeed, much of my work is filled with holes...
