This box is constructed from matte black acrylic and measures approximately 6 x 6 x 1 inches and features a detailed reproduction of a gingko leaf in clear frosted acrylic. Two switches on the bottom of the box control the color that the leaf glows when the box is plugged in: from green to lime to yellow. Very soothing indeed. I don't understand why, but my wife insists that not everyone wants something that lights up... So... I made smaller versions of the ginkgo leaf as a trinket box. These are identical in design to my "clear box, black lid." I cut the center leaf from either clear, transparent green, or transparent yellow acrylic. Because the box base is clear, the leaf appears to glow.
