Please see my earlier work for a complete description of the history of the Armour Meat Packing Plant and my adventures exploring it's abandoned shell. I wanted to experiment with ways to reproduce my photos using my laser cutter. The image on the top left was etched onto cardboard. The image on the top right was etched onto clear acrylic and placed in front of a piece of black card stock. The bottom two images were etched onto anodized aluminum. The etchings are approximately 5x7 and the mattes are 8x10.  |
